VP Merchandising
We are looking for a results driven VP of Merchandising with a passion for retail for a large retail brand. Will have $2+ Billion dollar responsibility.
We’re looking for a VP of Merchandising who can develop creative and innovative merchandising strategies for a large retailer. Ideal candidates must possess a competitive spirit, the ability to drive change, and take calculated risks. This role will communicate the vision and inspire a team of More than 30. As a leader, this individual must be capable of interfacing with all levels of management and understand the necessity of being a team player, yet be comfortable in an environment requiring a high degree of individual performance. Some qualifications include:
· 10 – 15+ years merchandising leadership experience, with 5 plus years in retail, big box, grocery, hard-lines, specialty or drug.
Manages P&L for area of responsibility.
· Experience Identifying, developing, communicating and executing 2-4 year business plans for department. Including market trends, demands, sales forecasts, margin requirements to maximize profitable category sales, promotional initiatives, inventory turn goals and vendor relationship management.
