Job Description: Property Manager
Responsibilities: • Maintain the entire property in an attractive, comfortable condition • Supervise the overall appearance of the property and coordinate work to be completed with Maintenance Supervisor • Responsible for working with the Regional Property Supervisor and property staff in attaining occupancy goals, the highest possible rental income and the lowest possible project expenses • Train, direct, motivate and assist in all types of office and leasing operations on a daily basis • Upon request and as needed, hire and/or discipline all onsite employees • Supervise the scheduling for the completion of turnovers/make-readies of vacant units in coordination with the maintenance supervisor • Maintain proper inventory levels and order supplies with the Regional Property Supervisor's approval • On-call in accordance with scheduling to handle emergencies from residents and property emergencies; must carry form of communication in which to be contacted at home or elsewhere and must respond in emergencies • Meet the needs of residents and their lease agreements • Prepare move-in paperwork and perform a move-in orientation with new residents • Walk units, as needed, on move-in and move-out and as otherwise directed • Plan and assist with resident functions • Ability to work evenings, overtime, holidays and weekends as needed
Job Requirements: Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent • Must have above-average written and oral communication skills • Must be able to direct, motivate, train and develop subordinates • Full-time resident management experience with a minimum of 3-5 years of on-site apartment experience • Computer skills needed
