Junior Buyer

Responsibilities:
- Purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors, including internationally
- Evaluating vendor quotes & services to determine most desirable suppliers
- Working with R&D, Sales and Production departments
- Maintaining inventory control
- Seeking out opportunities to develop working relationships with vendors

Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of professional purchasing experience in a technical industry
- Must be able to get quotes with minimal info, get comparison quotes from competitors and present them to management in a concise manner.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Bachelors degree
