Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY
Manages the maintenance of facilities, grounds, and refueling equipment; supervises the installation and maintenance of bus stops, shelters; conducts various OSHA related training to staff.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Maintains fuel servicing, bus washing, maintenance support equipment, secures access equipment, stand-by generators and other power back-up equipment; coordinates the installation and maintenance of bus stop and shelters; prepares required reports; supervises senior utility service workers/facilities maintenance workers in daily maintenance of bus stops and shelters, buildings, and grounds; manages fork lift, OSHA compliance, respirator and storm water pollution programs, provides training to staff.

Job Requirements:
KNOWLEDGE
Current Management techniques and principles; building and grounds maintenance; hazardous materials handling, storm water runoff, and OSHA regulations; working knowledge of masonry, electricity, carpentry, plumbing; principles of effective supervision and training.

ABILITY
Work varying shifts; train staff in procedures for hazardous communication and implementing storm water runoff procedures; write reports and/or plans for county and state inspections; obtain and maintain a California drivers license; write clearly and concisely; use Microsoft word, excel, access and power point applications; establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.

SKILL
Effective written and oral communications; leading and motivating staff; evaluating programs and recommending changes; coordination among all organization levels.
