Job Description: RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop counseling plans and provide direct care services for SPMI, HIV/AIDS infected and/or homeless adults in a transitional congregate setting to ensure that they are linked to needed services. May provide crisis intervention, formulation and achievement of clients’ goals and objectives, monitor medication, group facilitation, entitlement advocacy and teach adult living skills. In addition, assist residents in acquiring necessary skills to live independently in permanent housing.
Job Requirements: QUALIFICATIONS: BA preferred. Minimum 1-2 years relevant experience assisting persons with Mental Illness. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) required. Bi-lingual: English/ Spanish a plus.
