We seek qualified candidates for the position of Associate Director, Human Resources Programs to join our team in Durham, NC.
As a member of the senior HR team, position is responsible for developing, communicating and managing Human Resource programs for FHI staff to establish and ensure FHI’s position as an employer of choice. Position Responsibilities: Works as a member of senior HR team in identifying, developing and roll-out of HR programs that support FHI strategic objectives. Develops and supports overall global compensation strategy by designing and implementing best practices. Benefit plan design and management of all benefits programs including the health and welfare plans, 403(b) and 401(a) plans. Partners with managers and Human Resources to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve various pay issues, as well as obtain feedback to ensure FHI total compensation serves as a recruitment and retention vehicle. Prepare budget projections for HR programs. Monitors the financial performance of plans and modifies design where appropriate. Manage the development of employee communications campaigns and employee branding in conjunction with Staffing group and senior HR team. Maintains accurate and up-to-date job descriptions, performs job analysis and job progression charts. Ensures compliance with ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA and other law and regulations associated with Compensation and Benefits administration. Manage, administer and make appropriate recommendations for HR programs.
Job Requirements: Minimum Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field with 5-7 years experience in corporate benefits and compensation management, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Progressive experience in the analysis, design and / or administration of compensation and benefits programs • Must be current on new practices, trends, or developments in HR programs • Ability to manage multiple projects • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and customer service skills • Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality • Team player with a strong negotiation skills • Solid PC skills with proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
