We need an experienced, results oriented Commodity Manager to lead a team of supply management professionals to create and implement innovative sourcing solutions.
Our client needs your expertise to improve their cash management position with competitive payment terms, and vendor managed inventory programs As Commodity Manager, you will be tasked with managing approximately $50MM of subcontracts of Indirect Material & Services.
Additional responsibilities include developing and implementing annual commodity business plans and becoming the supplier expert in your commodity group.
Job Requirements:
3 years of supervisory experience
3 years of experience handling supplier negotiation and subcontract management
8 years of supply management experience
Bachelor's degree in business or technology + a minimum of 8 years of Supply Management experience in the field of electronic, telecommunications or construction services. Or Master's degree in business or technology and a minimum of 5 years Supply management experience in the field of electronic, telecommunications or construction services required
Working knowledge of e-Procurement tools
Strong communication skills
