Implementation Specialist

The focus of this position will be to Implement and support our MDS System, a business solution focused on the medical supply chain. Position will involve account management, on-site and in-house training/support of the client (some out-of-town travel required). The candidate will also work in a liaison role between customers and programmers with regard to all client application issues. Our software includes modules for customer service, purchasing, inventory, warehouse management, and accounting.

The Implementation Specialist will be involved in all aspects of the client company. This might include working with our sales department providing pre-sales support, meeting with the client to define system requirements, and working with our in-house staff to guide the modifications through to implementation. Most importantly, the Specialist will supervise the system installation at the client and manage the ongoing relationship between the two companies.

The successful candidate should have 2-3 years work experience, be self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision, and demonstrate good communication skills. Knowledge of business requirements and accounting functions a must. Some familiarity with Windows, Microsoft Office applications, and PC hardware is desirable.
