Resident Manager

Responsibilities:
As the Resident Manager, you will be responsible for the health and safety of the pets in our care, as well as superior client service to our clients while you manage all daily activities within the facility. You will oversee boarding, day camp, grooming and training as you work as the Manager on Duty during assigned shifts, maintaining check-in and check-out of pets during assigned daily and evening shifts.


Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
• 2+ years management experience – Kennel operations experience preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Previous experience providing care for dogs or cats preferred
• 3+ years personnel management and team leadership
• Good work ethic, driven to achieve and good conflict resolution
• Superior client service
• Effective record-keeping and communications skills
• Dependable and reliable
• A passion for animals and animal care, especially dogs and cats
• Previous experience providing care for dogs or cats preferred
• Physically able to secure and handle large dogs and to handle facility maintenance and cleaning duties
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• High school diploma; college education preferred
• K9Bytes preferred
• Microsoft Office proficiency including Outlook (e-mail), internet, retail transaction processing and others as designated
