A worldwide market and derivates trading firm is looking for an upbeat talented and result-driven Windows Systems Engineer. The ideal candidate must have previous experience in a trading capacity. In this role, the candidate will report into the Windows Team Leader and work out of Chicago.

Job Responsibilities

Design, deployment, maintenance, and monitoring of Windows-based client and server systems

· Architecting, deploying, and maintaining new systems that will help the business meet its goals and run more efficiently

· End-to-end management of a variety of systems including: email, electronic communications archiving, SAN, VMWare, Active Directory, and instant messaging

4+ years of related experience as a Windows administrator

· Strong understanding of the fundamentals of TCP/IP networking, security, Windows platforms and Active Directory

· Experience setting up and administering a Windows Active Directory infrastructure, including core services such as DNS and DHCP

· Scripting experience (vbscript, PowerShell) is preferred

· Familiarity with the following is a plus: Exchange 2007, Office Communications Server 2007, Commvault Galaxy, Altiris, SharePoint 2007, VMWare, ITIL, MS SQL

· Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills with the ability to learn quickly

· Strong communication skills. Ability to document and justify decisions in writing as well as the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users

· A positive attitude with a focus on providing excellent service to internal clients
