Job Description:
Headway Corporate Resources is currently seeking an Arbitrage Media Planner & Buyer for a client in the New York, NY area.

Media buyer will support efforts to create a new line of business using price model arbitrage and consumer retargeting. The network will buy inventory on a CPM (cost-per-thousand impressions) basis, and make revenues based on a CPA (cost-per-acquisition) basis, reducing the risk of the inventory for advertisers (who are only paying for success), and absorbing the associated risk itself. The network will make money on the difference between the CPM it pays publishers and the "effective CPM" (eCPM) it will charge advertisers through commissions it earns. To re-target consumers, the media buyer will create and optimize campaigns, managing them in the DART ad serving/targeting tool.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Assist executive team in setting up initial tests in Q4 2009, with a plan to roll out in Q1 2010.
-React and execute strategy to test media arbitrage concept, including modeling out assumptions.
-Create ongoing optimization plans that drive revenue and sales for our clients, as well as LinkShare. Forecast revenue and devise plans needed to meet targets.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Candidate will have 4-6 years experience in online media and analytics. Successful candidates may bring experience from a media agency, in house media group at a client or ad network. Bachelors degree required.

ANALYTICAL SKILLS: Experience with qualitative and quantitative analysis of online media programs results including recommendations for strategic and/or tactical changes. Success in setting revenue targets and measuring results against forecast and analyzing shortfalls.

TECHNICAL ABILITIES: Expertise in spreadsheet analysis and client-ready report and presentation development. CANDIDATES MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE USING DART software program. Must be able to quickly develop facility with DART software to review campaigns and report results.

-Marketing: Experience measuring and analyzing results of online marketing campaigns.

-Relationship Management: Experience setting and managing internal customer expectations. On-time delivery of performance goals achieved within budget.

-Communication Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills. Experience synthesizing data and communicating business recommendations. Ability to interface effectively with senior management.

-Project Management Skills: Ability to prioritize work, set expectations, and meet deadlines. Ability to multi-task and produce consistent, quality work on time. Creative approach to solve problems. Professional judgment.
