Job Description:
National cleaning company based in St. Louis MO is hiring for building janitorial supervisor. This position is an overnight position located in St. Louis City. The position is a salaried, full time position starting at $24, 960.00 with earning potential. Position does offer the option of medical/dental and vision insurance. Paid holiday’s after 60 days and paid vacation after 1 year of service.

This is a VERY high energy position, so the applicant MUST be able to maintain physical energy for the entire shift. This position requires A LOT of walking, and constant standing. You will be on your feet for 8 hours nightly.

Requirements for the position include but not limited to:
1 year of janitorial supervision experience (must have managed a crew), floor/carpet experience is a plus
Must be able to delegate and accept responsibility of a crew of 10 people
Able to pass a drug and alcohol test
Able to pass criminal and insurance background check
Able to lift up to 60 pounds, bend, squat, and stand for extended periods
Must be able to communicate with management on all levels
Basic written, verbal and mathematical skills are needed
Must have good organizational skills
Must have ability to plan and implement schedules and routines

Duties of position include:
General Cleaning of large campus consisting of 9 buildings on a nightly basis
General Cleaning will consist of dusting, mopping, pulling trash, vacuuming, restroom detailing, etc.
Managing, training, motivating and disciplining of employees
Inspections of buildings and employee work performance
Ordering of supplies
Mixing and measuring and issuance of chemicals
Communication with customer and managers on a daily basis
