Job Description: Quality Manager - souteast USA
Quality Manager / Technical Director oversees the panel product quality at the plant site while working with clients for product definition and quality enhancements.
Job Requirements: We will only accept candidates with OSB, particleboard or MDF quality management experiance.
PROJECT RELATED COMPETENCIES Solution Development and Delivery · Serves as a quality and technical expert representative across teams, clients · Offers quality and technical support across practices in offering definition and positioning. · Suggests alternative quality technical solutions to meet client requirements more efficiently, and/or with greater reusability, and / or longer life. Technical Effort Management · Promotes and coordinates technical knowledge harvesting within the organization. · Defines, communicates and enforces code standards. · Manages quality control technical teams within budget and project schedule. · Tracks and identifies new opportunities to improve our methodology and training offerings. · Assists in strategic sales efforts from a quality and technical perspective. · Consistently delivers high-quality services to our clients. CAREER PATH CORE COMPETENCIES Technical Expertise · Wood panel, OSB, particleboard and or MDF quality control knowledge · Complex database and SPC concepts and assists in establishing standards applied across project teams. · Root cause analysis skills Communication · Handles difficult personnel situations directly, using appropriate discretion, HR advice, and respect for the individual. · Promotes us through speaking engagements at industry conferences and involvement in local business organizations. · Experience with being published in technical / trade journals, writes white papers on chosen technical expertise, or speaks at industry events PROFESSIONAL QUALITIES · Achieves excellence in all areas of business leadership. · Champions change and effectively manages the implementation of new ideas. Internal Operations · Reviews and supplies status reports of quality control. · Enforces company standard policies and procedures.
