Job Description:
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Responsible for re-engineering and re-design efforts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES (Considering job knowledge, job environment, effort, manipulative skill, judgment, safety knowledge, and responsibility):
- Responsible for communicating technical data/concepts to production areas.
- Responsible for developing concepts, design, and economics into viable capital projects.
- Responsible for proposing process options and determining optimal application.
- Responsible for troubleshooting/consulting or process/equipment problems.
- Responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing process performance.
OTHER DUTIES (Considering job knowledge, job environment, effort, manipulative skill, judgment, safety knowledge, and responsibility):
- Responsible for the health and safety of all employees.
- Member of the Plant Leadership team.
- Member of Quality Improvement Team.
- Must become a Six Sigma Blackbelt.
Job Requirements:
- Must be available for call-in duty as needed.
- Must possess good interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Must have Engineering, Chemistry, or Textile with 3+ years of Color Compounding experience.
- Must be willing to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as required.
