Job Description:
Responsible for direct supervision, development, training, motivation, and support for the field sales force. Specifically:

• Ensure they meet or exceed their goals for volume growth targets for existing accounts and development of new accounts.
• Provide sales, merchandising , promotions, inventory management training as necessary.
• Provide direction of alternative market penetration in various sections such as linen, laundry, rental, hospitals, book stores, etc.
• Handle special promotion programs and deliver to the field
• Support implementation of support for national accounts as necessary.
• Define Sales Goals and Objectives
• Develop Sales incentive programs
• Conduct performance evaluations and develop performance plans

Job Requirements:
Experience: Candidates for this position must possess:

• Bachelors degree in business
• 15 or more year of successful sales management experience in at least two different environments
• Experience gained in non durable goods, accessories, or soft goods. (apparel would be ideal)
• Must have firsthand experience with sales to independent retail apparel outlets
• Developed and implement creative sales, in store merchandising, and promotional programs, plan o grams, etc
• Familiar with model stock inventory programs and vendor managed inventories.

Suitable Industry Experience and Direct Sales Backgrounds in:

• Healthcare Apparel (ideal)
• Footwear
• Accessories
• Women’s RTW
• Private label apparel
• Image Apparel
• Healthcare supplies
