Job Description: Family Support Project Manager
The Family Support Project Manager will be responsible for overall implementation and direct oversight of the Family Support project. This person will serve as project liaison to the lead, assistant and co-trainers, and to the companys network of chapters. The Project Manager will serve as a member of the Advisory Council, work with the lead and assistant trainers to create a format to capture evaluative data and ensure the project is meeting or exceeding projected timelines. Finally, the Project Manager will work with the Advisory Council and lead trainers to disseminate project information and materials. Responsibilities: Invites and convenes with Advisory Council, with the input of company chapters, the project partners, companys Diversity Committee and the Lead Trainer and Trainers; plans and implements curriculum workshop; manages finalizing 3 segments of curriculum (basic, advocacy and policy) Manages translation of curriculum to Spanish and Chinese; ensures availability in time for training at local sites Directs activities of Lead Trainer, Trainers, Co-Trainers and Administrative Assistant to ensure success of the project Develops and/or maintains strategic and collegial relationships with the State Action Teams and the Knowledge & Involvement Network in 12 states and 2 territories Reports progress to the Executive Manager (who oversees the project) on a weekly basis, and Project Advisory Committee on a bi-monthly basis Reports project progress and preliminary findings to partners, and to relevant publications and conferences Works with Project Advisory Committee to ensure strategic and proactive engagement with key stakeholders and decision-makers about project progress and findings Works with Chapters, Project Advisory Committee, State Action Teams and others to identify ways company and partnering organizations can more effectively include all participating families, including families of color, and provide and facilitate leadership roles after the project is over Tracks and manages use of project resources In collaboration with local company chapters and other participating entities, schedules training dates and locations for 3 training events for 14 training sites, and manages all incoming questions and information sharing regarding these events (posts on website, makes flyers available, etc.) Assists in coordination of travel arrangements for curriculum workshop and training events Manages all project paperwork, including purchase requests, expense reimbursements and invoices according to company financial management policies Maintains project records Facilitates data collection as described in the evaluation plan
Job Requirements: Qualifications: Proficiency in all MS Office software HTML proficiency Experience in communities of color At least 2 years of project management experience Disability experience preferred Excellent writing and verbal communication skills Proven ability to multi-task Group facilitation skills
