Real Estate Analyst (2009113) Job

Estimate value on improved or unimproved real property to determine value for purchase, sale, investment, mortgage, or loan purposes by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Appraisal review on various types of real estate on a nationwide basis.


• Reviews include appraisal reports as well as Broker Price Opinions (BPOs) and AVM's. 


• Site inspections for certain properties based on estimated or known loan amount.


• Considers trends, market indicators or impending trends that could influence value.


• Research into public record for assessment data, zoning issues and building department for potential violations.


• Interview real estate brokers and appraisers as part of investigation into local sub-market.


• Writes property reviews based on available data.


• Maintains real estate broker and appraiser database for compliance with company standards.


• Understand and follow the Bayview Financial Company Tenets.


• Other duties as assigned by Real Estate Administrator

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.


• Must have good communication skills both written and verbal.


• Strong organizational skills.

• College education is strongly preferred. High School diploma or equivalent required. 


• Certifications, Licenses, and/or Registration Requirements: State Certified Residential Appraiser's License and/or a minimum of 2 years of field experience appraising residential properties.
