Sr. Large Commercial REO Asset Manager (2009111) Job

Incumbent will manage the marketing and the disposition of a portfolio of small to large commercial REO assets. The goal of the position is to minimize holding time and maximize value to Bayview.  In this role, you will handle the larger and more specialized small commercial assets, including income producing multi-tenant properties or prospective tenants; hire local real estate agents to market, monitor, and take care of each property’s maintenance, utilities and other items as needed; hire and manage property managers; make appropriate phone calls to brokers, appraisers, tax assessors, contractors and to others in gathering information; produce business plans to determine the economic feasibility to renovate, lease, and stabilize a property and an action plan to accomplish those goals; interpret trends and demographics; obtain status from agents and or managers to ensure work is being completed within the specific time frame and deadlines are being met; negotiate lease agreements with occupants as part of the marketing process; travel periodically to inspect bank owned assets and to become more familiar with local market; ensure deadlines are being met; and handle any other duties as requested.

• Proven ability to handle large and more specialized commercial assets, including income producing multi tenant properties or prospective tenants.


• Demontrated ability to manage the marketing and the disposition of a portfolio of small commercial REO assets.


• Strong organizational and negotiating skills with buyers, agents/brokers and management companies.


• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with basic computer programs and the Internet.


• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with all levels of employees and outside vendors.

• Selected candidate will possess a college degree (B.S. preferred) and 2+ years of related experience.  


• Commercial real estate and/or portfolio experience.


• Appraisal, management or broker experience is a plus.
