ROLE SUMMARY:

The Benefits Service Manager (BSM) is responsible for the client satisfaction, consulting, requirements creation and maintenance, customer service provisional training, and integration with the system development team for their service (Health Management). A proficient BSM demonstrates strong client consulting skills and deep plan knowledge (including legislation and compliance). The BSM will be the main contact point for the client with respect to ongoing requirements definition. In general, this role will serve multiple clients. This role:

Conducts plan management client consulting;
Develops and updates all applicable requirements documents for plan provisions, administrative events, interface documentation, and delivery channel documentation for clients in ongoing delivery;
Participates in analysis discussions, reviews test plans, and conducts internal acceptance reviews to ensure the provision requirements match the technical specifications;
Provides subject matter expertise to the client, client team, and internal support teams (i.e. Customer Service) on plan provisions and ongoing processing concepts;
Serves as primary resource to the client, client team, and internal support teams in the translation of requirements;
Prioritizes work within the client team;
Works with the client to develop project scope for design and delivery changes;
Builds domain knowledge within the client team;
Provides client provisional training to the delivery team and Customer Service;
Includes leadership responsibilities, which will encompass coaching, leveraging team talent, providing performance feedback, and reinforcing behaviors that support Hewitt's mission, values, policies and guidelines in a virtual, global and on-site environment;
May travel up to 15%.


Job Requirements:
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree;
4-6 years of comparable work experience;
Proven project management skills;
Strong attention to detail as it relates to requirements, process, and system capabilities;
Excellent influencing and communication skills;
Strong coaching and feedback skills.
