Comp $105,000 – $115,000 / Bonus $20,000 at Target - Vehicle

The Director of Business Development, Solar is •Responsible for developing the North American solar business with defined accounts within a defined geography. He/she is primary contact and negotiator for the accounts assigned to him/her. •Responsible for all relevant solar project potential within his/her assigned territory – from investment to completion. •Responsible for achieving the revenue and profit plans associated with the North American solar business.
Job Requirements: Candidate Profile:
• Bachelor's degree required, MBA is desirable. Engineering Degree a plus • 6 to 12 years experience of progressive background • Extensive experience in sales, sales management and business development • Strong analytical quantitative and PC software skills required. • Outstanding communication skills, including: strong negotiation, influencing and collaboration skills. • Strong interpersonal, coaching, consulting and process and project management skills. • Experience with vendor selection, negotiation and relationship management. • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a high performing team • Must thrive in a fast pace and changing environment.
Job description:
•Develop account and project penetration strategies and action plans based on analyzing and assessing the opportunity and determining the decision-making dynamic. •Positively influence and impact the project value chain across all relevant firms including: investors, engineering and design, contractors and subcontractors, installers, OEM’s, and turnkey operators. •Develop and implement contractual agreements with key business partners and influencers. •Develop and maintain appropriate contacts at all relevant levels to understand and secure the fulfillment of our customers’ requirements.
