Job Description:
• Ordering and sourcing parts for machinery and equipment;
• Working with suppliers to ensure parts are available and delivered on time; meeting with suppliers, obtaining price lists, brochures and negotiating prices;
• Acquire accurate quotes from suppliers for projects;
• Arrange service calls, including labor and materials for projects;
• Initiate the purchase order system; Complete supplier profiles; acquire necessary signatures on authority and distribute copies;
• Follow-up on deliveries and place in stock;
• Manage purchase orders and packing slips;
• Ensure work area is clean and organized;
• Ensure accuracy of inventory in the system and on the shelves;
• Perform periodic inventory checks;
• Manage purchase orders, retrieve data and track parts from priority shipments.
• Ensure all work is performed safely while following OH&S, WCB, and Company regulations and procedures;
• Performs other duties as required.

Job Requirements:
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent;
• Minimum 3 years experience as a MRO Buyer an asset;
• Experience with a CMMS system;
• Strong PC skills;
• Customer service skills to interact with internal and external customers;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills;
• Ability to work well with others in a leadership capacity;
• Highly self-motivated and self-initiative, with the ability to work without direct supervision;
• Experience in the food industry is considered an asset.
