Job Description:
Accountable for increasing company sales revenues and retaining existing sales revenue in an assigned territory through the sale of Cardiovascular products to new and existing clients in the cardiac operating room. Target call points are perfustionists, cardiovascular surgeons and coordinators and hospital administration. Example of a day at work may include being in a surgical procedure at 7am and only having two or three calls in one day. Another day may entail meeting with a competitive hospital and staff to discuss advantages of using your product. Must have strong account development, selling skills, the desire to grow your business and work independently.
Base Salary + Commission 1st yr estimated to be $150,000. Excellent Benefits. Stable, well respected company in medical field.
Job Requirements:
*At least 4 years of successful sales experience selling medical device products in the operating room.
*Experience selling directly to surgeons
**Relationships with Cardiovascular surgeons in the San Antonio, TX area preferred.
Target call points are perfusionists, surgeons, and Cardiovascular Operating Room coordinators
*Must live in the San Antonio area or be familar with San Antonio and willing to self relocate.
*Have the ability and desire to do some entertaining of target surgeons in territory that may include some evening dinners and or events.
