Job Description:
Job responsibilities will include:
1. Process mortgage loans which includes opening the file, ordering documentation and
submitting loan for approval
2. Prepare loan modification documents
3. Pre-qualify applicant and prepare disclosure statements
4. Review loans for compliance with state laws, federal regulations and policies and procedures
5. Other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate will have:
• VA, FHA and conventional loan experience
• 1-2 years consistent mortgage loan processing experience
• Excellent attention to detail
• Compliance background a plus
Must understand loan modification process and understand mortgage documents and how to put them together. Understand profit and loss, mortgage note, PI vs escrow, how to calculate documents. Enter information on spreadsheet. Assists with training and development of new /existing employees, familiarizsing them with their tasks and responsibilities. Suggests to supervisor changes in workload or position responsibilities as necessary.
Must have strong people skills along with strong communication skills both verbal and written.
Provides direct support to Vice President of Mortgage Division.
Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel (must know how to create a spreadsheet), and PowerPoint a plus not a must.
Hours: 12 noon to 8p.m. M-F
