Job Description:
HR: Responsible for the recruitment efforts for all exempt and non exempt positions; coordinates new hire orientation program; coordinates the training and development program including all required and non-required training; assists Human Resources Director in maintaining compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws. Responsible for providing administrative and project management support to include Project Status Reporting.
Safety: Responsible for promoting and implementing health and safety programs meeting the requirements of the Company program in consideration of divisional needs. Monitor safety and health regulations and provide technical support to company personnel to ensure compliance with Federal and State safety and health regulations.


Job Requirements:
1.Determines and recommends employee relations practices and all Human Resources policies, programs, and practices to keep top management informed of new developments
2.Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting the human resource function.
3.Establishes wage and salary structure, pay policies, performance appraisal programs, and employee benefit programs and services.
4.Ensures recruitment process meets all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
7.Coordinates the hiring of all regular, contracted, and temporary employees. Works with departments, contractors, and agencies to ensure an accurate candidate is placed into the position.
8.Assists departments in writing job descriptions.
9.Develops and posts job announcements, screens applicants for minimum qualifications, recommends potential candidates to management, conducts phone and on site interviews, and assists management staff in hiring decisions.
10.Coordinates pre employment testing and screening on all applicants including but not limited to pre employment medical testing, pre employment job skill testing, background investigations, psychological evaluations, and driving records.
11.Responsible for creating and coordinating all new hire paperwork.
12.Establishes in-house management training programs
13.Responsible for staffing, staffing planning, conducting performance appraisals on direct reports, budgeting, ensuring compliance with training requirements and safety policies and procedures, developing direct reports and controlling department expenditures.
Safety Essential Functions
1. Participate in the development and continuous improvement of Company safety programs, training and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and OSHA laws and regulations and industry leading safety practices.
2. Providing and maintaining accurate statistical data, reports and analysis of injury trends to operations in support of divisional accident reduction goals.
3. Responsible for Workers’ Compensation claims management, administration and reporting requirements.
