Bilingual Billing/Collections Representative

In this role you will collect money for all services rendered by our company on patient accounts, claim status inquires and adding collection notes as necessary and maintain accuracy of patient accounts receivable as assigned. Additionally, you will perform a review of patient charts in cooperation with the Quality Assurance Director to verify revenue integrity, interact with patients concerning billing inquires and attend RECAP meetings to remain current on the status of patients and services being rendered.

• Maintain at least two continuing educational courses annually; seminars, Medicare, Medicaid, accounting or coding
• High school graduate with at least 1 year of college
• Possess 1 year of secretarial experience with a licensed medical facility
• Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office applications
• Type at least 45 words per minute
• Exceptional telephone etiquette
• Retain confidential information
• 2+ years Medicare and Medicaid insurance billing/collections experience
• Knowledge of patient accounting/billing software systems
• Bilingual in English/Spanish
