Job Description:
Sales Route Driver
As the Sales Route Driver you will travel over an established route to deliver and sell N W Delights Products. We typically work Monday through Friday with an occasional Saturday for those who fall behind on their routes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Drive company vehicle to deliver N W Delights products to customers
Write customer orders and instructions
Record sales or delivery information on daily sales record/delivery invoices
Call on prospective customers to solicit new business
Prepare order forms and sales contracts
Inform regular customers of new products or promotional items
Listen to and resolve service issues
Merchandise and rotate stock on shelves, racks and bulk bins
Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issue sales promotion materials to customers
Complete a thorough cleaning of at least one bulk trail mix, dried fruit, candy and nut section each day
Clean and replace scoop holders and tethers as needed in bulk sections
Maintain accurate ingredient labels for each bulk item Natures World manages
Collect or pick up empty containers or rejected or unsold merchandise
Issue or obtain customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery
Clean inside and outside of truck weekly
Manage routine maintenance on trucks
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Minimum of one year in a related field
Must maintain a valid, current drivers license and D.O.T. health card
Maintain current State/County Food Worker Card
Clean motor vehicle record
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organizations.
Ability to frequently lift 12 to 25 pounds and occasionally move up to 70 pounds
