Job Description:
MCP Group is an international industrial company specializing in the sale and recycling of minor metal products. Headquartered in Belgium, the group is a global company with facilities in Europe, the United States, South America and Asia. In its various sites the group recycles minor metal bearing by-products into refined metals. These metals are further processed into high purity metals, alloys, powders, salts and chemicals. End users of these products operate in the automotive, pharmaceutical, electronic and solar industries.
To reinforce its recycling team in its Fairfield (Connecticut) office, MCP is looking for a Commercial Assistant, with opportunities for advancement. This person will be in charge of contract administration, contract follow-up (coordination of sampling, contract settlements, payments, etc…), organizing shipments and market research. Also, this person will act as a back-up for the commercial team. For this position we are looking for a flexible, proactive team player with a college degree and 2 to 3 years of work experience. Preferably, this person has experience in logistics and is bilingual English/Spanish.
