I am an executive recruiter with Schwelling Recruiting Services, an executive and professional placement firm. One of our clients is a large international executive recruiting firm based in Chicago, which is NOT looking for recruiters, but managers / owners to open an office for them near where you live.

You do not need experience in the recruiting arena, as long as you have demonstrated successful management experience and are financially stable. Our client will provide you with professional training, assist you in locating and opening an office, and provide you with ongoing professional back-office and field support. Most of their owners are currently generating incomes of $200K to $500K or more per year, and a few are earning as much as $1M. Their minimum financial requirement is a past track record of earning $150K+ annually and a liquid net worth of $200K+. You do not have to invest this, but they wish to assure themselves that you have the ability to financially sustain yourself during the several month process required for training, setting up an office and generating revenue to become profitable. They ARE willing to finance the startup costs, if required, with payback over a period of time once you are up and running.

If you pass their initial screening process, they will invite you and your spouse (if married) to Chicago to brief you on their operation and business model. You will initially spend a full day with their senior management team exploring the industry, learning just what a professional recruiter does and the road map to building a successful recruiting business. Following your day-long meeting, you will be given the opportunity to meet with current owners to get their feedback and help you to decide whether this opportunity would be right for you.
