Job Description:
IMMEDIATE OPENING!
Non-Profit organization in need of a full-time Controller
Position Description: This position is accountable for the accounting operations of the company, to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate and enhance the accuracy of the companys reported financial results.
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
2. Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions.
3. Issue timely and complete financial statements.
4. Manage the production of an annual budget.
5. Ensure that periodic bank reconciliations are completed.
6. Provide accounts receivable and accounts payables agings.
7. Maintain an orderly accounting filing system.
8. Process and document payroll on a timely basis.
9. Prepare monthly journal entries and maintain general ledger up to date.
10. Maintain the chart of accounts.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or business administration or equivalent business experience and 5 years of progressively responsible experience. Preference will be given to candidates with the Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designations.

Non-Profit Experience
Bilingual (English/2Spanish)
