About the Job
We are searching for a Global Director of Finance with very strong business acumen, global business experience for our client, successful and stable Fortune 500 global manufacturing company. This career opportunity utilizes your skills to see the full picture, provide support in Finance, Pricing, Market analysis and global sales results and forecasting for the company's Commercial Retail product lines.

Responsibilities:
• Lead commercial finance planning process for AOP, strategy plan, monthly/quarterly reporting for all related commercial finance metrics including price, rebates, discounts/allowances, overall accounts receivable, sales & marketing cost budgets, etc.
• Responsible for Global orders and sales results, budget, forecast and prior year as global business progresses through weeks, months, quarters and years, including providing detailed results analysis to executives.
• Ownership of economic trends and competitive/market analysis to proactively educate business leadership and allow business to stay ahead of the curve.
• Responsible for global (bi-weekly) Accounts Receivable war room to improve past-dues and aging, as well as the project deck to drive overall improvements regarding credit card processing, term improvements, data integrity, past due reason code analysis, etc
• Provide leadership & active support for all global credit and collections processes.
• Support product pricing strategies. You will own the analytics regarding orders, sales, backlog and pricing trends.
• Support employee variable compensation execution by owning methodology, tactics and accounting.
• Partner with multiple leaders to drive the successful implementation of global common business process + leading edge IT; innovation driven by market insights; strategic selling, customer segmentation and price.
• Improve the order entry process, sales data quality, as well as other critical commercial processes

Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
• Minimum- BS in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent, MBA is a plus.
• Greenbelt certified
• 10+ years of related experience
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrix environment
• Ability to lead and influence a cross-functional team
• Excellent communication skills and demonstrated leadership ability
• Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues
• Experience working in a global business environment
• Understanding of financial compliance (GAP, SOX certification)
• Previous commercial finance, credit and working capital management experience
• Experience working with Oracle Financial systems.
• Experience or exposure to global US based retailer is a plus.
