The Underground Miner will safely operate various pieces of hand, powered or mobile equipment to meet site production goals. Essential duties include:

* Comply with state and federal health and safety regulations.
* Comply with Loss Control (HSLP), Environmental, and Newmont policies and procedures.
* Safely operate utility vehicles, underground light vehicles, front end loader, forklift, and water truck, including pre-op inspections.
* Use Ellipse to process requisitions and pick tickets and to perform all required documentation accurately and proficiently.
* Demonstrate knowledge of UG layout and level.
* Perform inventory count.
* Unload delivery trucks, safely using proper techniques and equipment.
* Clean the dry and muster room as required.
* Safely handle explosives.
* Perform warehouse runs and deliver materials underground.
* Manual scaling.

Qualifications

* One or more years experience in underground hard rock mining preferred but not essential.
