We are currently looking for a 1st Shift Molding Production Supervisor to join our team. This position will report to the Manager of Molding Production and will play a key role in the continued success of our business.

You will assume full responsibility for the plastic molding activities for your assigned shift including supervision of subordinates and equipment in the Molding Department.
You will be accountable for the orderly operation of all equipment and employees on your shift.


Duties include:

1. Direct and coordinate all production activities in the molding department to ensure that molding production schedule priorities are maintained and being followed.

2. Assign shift work assignments to Mold Technicians and Set-up persons, documenting all services such as mold changes, mold cleaning and repairs performed during the shift.

3. Follow procedures in IQMS (resource planning system) to monitor scrap, standards, productivity, and machine utilization.

4. Ensure proper handover of production to following shift Supervisor.

5. Ensure that all assigned personnel complete and submit checklists as required.

6. Ensure subordinates are properly trained, referring to approved checklists, procedures and job description.

7. Review staff performance by using checklists and production data. Serve as coach to assigned personnel with the objective to continuously improve their job performance.

Desired Education and Experience
AA/AS or BA/BS degree
7 years experience in injection molding
4 years experience in injection molding troubleshooting
2 years experience as a lead or supervisor, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Upon offer, selected candidate will be required to pass a background screening and pre-employment physical and drug test.
