Job Description: Located in beautiful Kingwood, Texas, The Nathaniel Center is dedicated to encourage excellence and family values by providing a first class venue for performing arts, cultural, educational, gala affairs, weddings, and other community events. We are a non-profit organization supporting many U.S. charities as well as the performing arts, by underwriting events for the community many times throughout the year in the area of classical music concerts by various concert artists and theater through Curtain Call Cafe. Facilities Manager Effectively supervising a team of 2-3 employees, the Facilities Manager will coordinate and direct the design, planning, construction, maintenance and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings and other facilities by performing the following duties: • Inspects building and evaluates use of space and facilities as well security watch. • Analyzes firm's HVAC systems, lighting and other factors. • Plans, budgets and schedules facility modifications including cost estimates, bid sheets, layouts and contracts for construction. • Performs support facility planning and events. • Acts as liaison to public utility, environmental and energy agencies. • Inspects construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established specifications. • Oversees the coordination of building maintenance. • Oversees and directs maintenance personnel and workers engaged in equipment installation, facilities equipment repair and preventive maintenance.
Qualifications: The qualified candidate will possess 2-4 years of facilities experience. Supervisory experience preferred.
