JOB DESCRIPTION:
Primarily operating wafer fabrication equipment processing lots (boxes of 25 8” wafers). The Level 1 Technician selects specific lots by following computer generated dispatches and machine interfaces Fab and physically loads them into the machines. Level 1 Operations includes reacting to equipment indicators as the product is being processed performing assists as required. Some minor / routine maintenance may be required. In general, 100% of their time will be performed at the above tasks in a Class 1 cleanroom.

Assignment length: Must be committed to 3-6 month contract (Compressed work shifts)

Job Requirements:
ESSENTIAL SKILLS (MUST HAVE):
• Follow instructions with little direct supervision
• Follow specifications and safety procedures without exception.
• Fluent English (written and verbal)
• Be able to stand for 3 hours at a time in a fully encapsulated cleanroom suit (bunny suit) and lift lot boxes with two hands weighing 11 lbs throughout a 12 hour shift. Bending, twisting, pushing hand carts and walking are required.
• Clean room attire includes head to toe covering, including hoods covering the nose and mouth, safety glasses and gloves. Sturdy shoes required. Absolutely no makeup or perfumes allowed.
• Basic Computer Skills, including: e-mail, use keyboards and mice, machine interface software, operate a scan-gun and the internet.

PREFERRED SKILLS (GOOD TO HAVE, BUT NOT MANDATORY):
• Previous Wafer Fab / Semiconductor experience ideal
• Veteran (Military Service)
• 2 Year Degree in Electronics or Micro-electronics manufacturing preferred
• Electronic and/or Mechanical Experience

Grave - $12.70/hr

Shift 4: 7pm-7:30am
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & every other Saturday -

Shift 6: 7pm-7:30am
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & every other Saturday -

Day - $11.85/hr

Shift 5: 7am-7:30pm
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & every other Wednesday

Shift 7: 7am-7:30pm
Thursday, Friday, Saturday & every other Wednesday
