Job Description: Cargill Animal Nutrition provides customized animal productivity solutions to commercial producers across the Americas, Europe, and Asia. Position Objective: As a Game Bird/Commercial Sales Consultant you will be responsible for interacting with direct producers, retailer dealerships, commercial feed operations and prospective customers, helping them understand how Cargill Animal Nutrition can provide solutions for them and improve their profitability. A Game Bird/Commercial Sales Consultant will typically have a passion for the game bird business and the commercial feed business. Establish and build effective customer relationships. Conduct various wildlife nutrition and management seminars. Have direct contact with the end consumer which includes game bird producers and hunting clubs. Work with customers to enhance the profitability of their business. Work closely with team members to solve complex customer issues. Build relationships with key influencers in the industry such as Veterinarians , Universities and other related vendors. Provide communication between the customer and business management team. Develop and execute marketing strategy and plans. Implement promotions and advertising. Provide critical input to the business management team. Geography: It is beneficial that an applicant reside in the Southern Wisconsin area. Travel will be required as this position will grow our business in the Upper Midwest region
Job Requirements: Required: 3+ years retail sales experience in an agricultural related field OR a Bachelor's degree in a related field Have a passion for animal production and the commercial feed business Preferred: Bachelor's degree Knowledge of animal health and agriculture
