Job Description:
We are seeking a self motivated individual to work counter sales who will be responsible for inside sales duties beginning with selling industrial, medical and specialty gases, welding equipment, hardgoods and tools to customers, will respond to inquiries or concerns for walk-in customers and customers that call-in, restock store merchandise, stay current on product knowledge, re-stock all store shelves, counters and display tables with merchandise, maintains showroom displays, ensure that customers are processed in a timely manner while at register, answering phones, cleaning store, obtains or transfers merchandise requested by customers to and from other locations, totals price and tax on merchandise purchased by customers using computer system, prepare invoice, ensure required paperwork is accurate and completed, in reference coding, cost, and price, will communicate by phone and in person with customers, sales staff, store managers and others, inquiring information on cost, orders and delivery times, etc, accept payments, wraps or bag merchandise for customers, assists in loading and unloading cylinders, arranges for delivery of cylinders and hardgoods. In addition must be able to provide a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, vendors, co-workers and management. Coordinate with purchase department any product shortages or outages. Ensure all administrative and accounting discrepancies procedures are reported to management.

Job Requirements:
A valid driver�s license, reliable transportation, pass a criminal background and pre-employment drug test check, ability to handle cash transactions accurately, read and write in English, bilingual is a plus, high school diploma, or equivalent, sales experience, general knowledge of industrial gases and some experience in handling compressed gases, provide outstanding customer service, excellent communication skills, work independently under pressure to meet deadlines, routinely lift 25-50 pounds, occasionally lift 51-80 pounds, perform work and prolonged standing up to 8 hours, frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, grasping, feeling and repetitive motion required, perform work during occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, pushing, pulling and finger activities, able to operate a forklift, read and comprehend materiel safety data sheets, basic knowledge of computer and data entry, work occasional overtime, when necessary, work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds, must be able to operate in a �Zero Tolerance� drug-free workplace.
