Job Description: Summary: This position will be responsible for elevating the company as the preferred and leading firm with reefer/perishables logistics from a Sales Executive position.
Areas of Responsibility: • Drive and execute Key Customer and Field Sales in the United States and Canada, including up-selling to existing clients. • Commercialize stand-alone reefer logistic products as well as more complex supply-chain solutions. • Build new strategic customer relationships and retain existing client portfolio • Increase revenue considerably, securing positive contribution margin growth • Build synergies across regions and create win-win situations with customers. • Create and sell competitive and comprehensive door-door supply chain solutions within a well defined environment of perishable consumer products • Meet budgetary requirements for profit margin. • Meet specific volume requirements for each product in the portfolio. • Work closely with customer servicing teams, communicating client requirements, ensuring a smooth on-boarding process • Develop a strategy to win high profile / high revenue clients that require a greater expertise to gain their business, ensuring higher profits for the organization •Manage profitability levels on a per client basis so as to meet desired personal and branch profitability goals •Timely communication of customer needs to servicing staff, maximizing customer retention •Ensure global colleagues understand customer and territory requirements, creating an atmosphere of success and customer satisfaction. •Daily and weekly reporting of market conditions, enabling branch and corporate management to make vital commercial decisions •Manage time and sales territory to be able to reach the desired amount of sales calls on a per weekly basis ensuring maximum company exposure to the market •Create territory strategy. •Ensure reporting and administrative duties are handled as per requirements •Manage expenses and other company assets in accordance with corporate guidelines. •Other duties as assigned
Requirements: • 4-6 years experience in selling or procuring logistic solutions as a producer, exporter, importer, or retailer preferably within perishable commodities (fruits, meats, seafood industries) • Fluent in English and Spanish
