Job Description:
1) Compile monthly/quarterly/weekly financial statements, along with supporting schedules, for review and audits;
2) Prepare and maintain controls for General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Cash Accounts, Budgets, Bank Reconciliation; and implementation/conversion of new accounting system
3) Responsible for posting payments to accounts payable and accounts receivable;
4) Provide Management with weekly payment selection reports and perform weekly check runs; 5) Maintain large account reconciliation;
6) Prepare for Tax and DCAA Audits;
7) Provide assistance during crunch periods to complete proposals;
8) Create/update accounting related written processes/procedures on an ongoing basis to support company ISO effort and lead ISO measurement team;
9) Implement cost accounting including time tracking procedures with selection of software module and assistance with migration;
10) Create/update processes for large contracts;
11) Assist with GSA processes and procedures;
12) Responsible for Sage BW backup and maintenance;
13) MD Property Tax Return;
14) Assist with invoicing, reconciliation, and other customer project financial related tracking 15) Assist in the preparation of contract cost proposals for cost plus, firm Fixed priced, Time & Material, and various alternative variations of those type contracts; Assist in Implementing Deltek accounting software – various modules to include timesheets and job costing and
16) Other varied projects
