Job Description:
Safe & SOUND Magazine is seeking an aggressive, results-oriented sales representative who will be responsible for selling advertising for our magazine.

In this position, you will have responsibility for generating leads and driving new business from small business owners up to senior executives of large corporations, with a heavy emphasis placed on face-to-face calls with new clients, along with networking at appropriate groups and associations in the Greater Baton Rouge area.

Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
• 2 years experience as a successful, consultative account executive with proven skills in selling to small to mid-sized retail clients preferred.

• Demonstrated track record of achieving sales goals and developing new business with an understanding of company branding and sales cycle execution.

• Proven experience using creative sales solutions and presentations that address audiences at many levels.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to address audiences at many levels.

• Must be a self-starter, be able to work independently, and have good time management skills.

• Ability to effectively work from home.

Safe & SOUND’s Role
While your focus is sales and growing the magazine, Safe & SOUND will manage all production aspects of the magazine, including editorial development, layout and design, printing, and mail fulfillment.
