Job Description:
Minimum of 4 years experience in the mining industry preferably in an open pit operation with a B.S. degree in Geology or Geological Engineering. Primary responsibilities include providing Mine Geological services and support for short and long range planning, modelling and mine development, ore control, coordinating collection of geological data, determining reserve evaluations and estimations, experience with resource development, managing drilling programs and proper sample protocol. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines, work with minimum supervision, and have a working knowledge of Mine Planning software, AutoCAD, Word Processing, Database and Spreadsheet programs.
