Job Description:
Our client, a major international bank located in New York City is seeking a Credit Risk Reporting Manager – VP to join their Credit Risk Management Department. This individual will be integral in centralizing reporting and risk management and will be a liaison between the VP and Manager of the Credit Risk Management Department and the reporting analysts.

This person will be responsible for leading the reporting team, being the “go to person” with regarding to the reporting function, and will coordinate with technology teams.

Major Responsibilities:
• Function as a “hands on” team leader responsible for generating 30+ credit risk reports. The reports are generated on a daily, weekly, monthly basis as well as ad hoc reports created from MS Access and Excel.
• Generate credit derivatives reports, counterparty reports, lending / market exposure reports, credit review reports and Basel II reports.
• Distribution of reports to various business groups, senior managers and regulators
• Identify risks for senior management and assist with the credit stress testing approach and implementation
• Verify data quality and participate in the policies and procedure enhancements
• Improve report quality and enhance the current reporting process

Job Requirements:
• 5+ years experience including project management and working with users across various banking / brokerage business units
• Minimum 3 years experience of reporting for a financial institution
• Knowledge of bank products such as loans and derivatives – exposure to banking or brokerage is a must
• Bachelors degree is required. Masters degree and/or certification is a plus
