Job Description:
A NYC agency is searching for a Business Architect for an 18 month contract in
Brooklyn, NY. The Business Architect will assist in the evaluation, design and implementation of a vendor-supplied system by performing the following functions:
• Develop relevant principles, descriptions of high-level future states and guidelines relating to the creation of business processes as needed
• Work with the business owners facilitate agreements on organizational work models in order to meet business requirements
• Work with individual business process analysts and the business architecture team supporting the creation of business cases for process investments and help with prioritization
• Participate in enhancing the ongoing enterprise architecture development, focusing on business architecture
• Conduct GAP analysis during the solution blueprinting phase to ensure that the product delivery is in line with the vision
• Analyze project needs, determine resources needed to meet objectives and solve problems that involve remote and elusive symptoms often spanning multiple environments in a business area
• As a member of the deployment team, you the Business Architect will report to the Project Manager
Job Requirements:
„P Practical experience in full lifecycle software development using multiple methodologies
„P 5 years of business consulting that focused on process improvement
„P 2 years of project management experience
„P Familiarity with balancing cross-functional business initiatives
„P In-depth experience with process redesign methods, such as business process re-engineering, Six Sigma or total quality management
„P Knowledge of all aspects of designing and constructing business processes, functions and organizational structures
„P Comprehensive knowledge of facilitation and organization change management
„P Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs
„P Ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence
„P Strong analytical and conceptual skill
„P Ability to create original concepts and theories for a variety of projects
„P Excellent written and verbal skills
„P Strong project management capability
