Job Description:
Now hiring an enthusiastic Assistant Manager for a new Rocky Rococo restaurant opening in Green Bay. The candidate will need to have the skills to transition to a General Manager position in 18-24 months. Benefits include meal discounts, paid vacation and a generous bonus program.
An Assistant Manager assists in almost all aspects of restaurant operations, including the following:
-Customer satisfaction
-Product quality control
-Motivating and managing employees
-Recruiting employees
-Performance & wage reviews
-Staffing
-Business analysis
-Scheduling
-Inventory control & record keeping
-Retention
-Equipment maintenance
-Training employees
-Controlling profit and loss
Job Requirements:
-2-4 years of management experience in the restaurant, hospitality or retail industry with responsibility for financial results
-Posess a valid driver's license and personal reliable trasportation
-Ability to accuratley handle money, make change, process credit card transactions, and complete bank deposits
-Ability to complete a Profit & Loss statement
-Experience managing high school and adult employees
-Ability to work on their feet in a fast paced environment for extended periods of time
-Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds, to bend and climb ladders in order to do stockroom activities and store maintenance
-Detail oriented, conscientious, thorough and reliable
-Ability to solve problems and manage conflict
-Extreme flexibility and adaptability to work weekends and overtime
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
