Job Description:
Company has an opportunity for an EVMS project manager in their Tucson office. The EVMS project manager will maintain the Earned Value Management System and the Integrated Master schedule for the company.
Specifically they are looking for someone with 10+ years experience in a combination of IMS and EVMS roles and will have a background in aerospace/defense contracts. Candidates with a Bachelors in Engineering or Accounting will be preferred. Previous experience with COBRA, MPM, and Microsoft Project a must. This position will oversee the program coordinator supporting the IMS and the financial analyst supporting EVMS.
Maintain responsibility for baseline schedule development and progress schedule reporting.
Interpret cost and schedule variance using generally accepted earned value management (EVM) tools and methodologies.
Perform critical path analysis of the schedule and prepare for potential changes from the baseline plan.
Assist with earned value implementation, including organizing the work, developing integrated cost and schedule baselines, updating forecasts, performing monthly analysis, and assisting with the implementation of scope changes.
Candidates MUST be US Citizens
Job Requirements:
1. 10+ years experience in a combination of IMS and EVMS roles.
2. Background in aerospace/defense contracts.
3. Bachelors Degree required ( in Engineering or Accounting preferred).
4. Previous experience with COBRA, MPM, and Microsoft Project a must.
5. US Citizen.
