Growing organization in North Houston, Texas is seeking an Analyst – Inventory Accounting to join its corporate team.
Responsibilities:

• Reconcile and roll-forward the inventory sub ledger and the general ledger. Ensure that the inventory is properly valued in the sub ledger and general ledger from both a quantity and unit price point of view. Make adjustments to both the general ledger and sub ledger as necessary to properly adjust valuation.
• Prepare the inventory general ledger roll-forward and accumulated depreciation roll-forward monthly for aircraft inventory.
• Monitor and adjust monthly inventory pricing variances on roughly 18,000 parts.
• Record monthly journal entries for "received but not invoiced" inventory, asset re-classes between inventory class codes, inventory sales transactions and accumulated depreciation.
• Prepare and coordinate quarterly review of inventory parts identified as "obsolete" by engineering. Make adjustments as necessary.
• Responsible for fulfilling the Sarbanes-Oxley 404 requirements related to the financial controls over the inventory process.
Candidate Must Have:
Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance
3+ years Accounting experience, or equivalent experiences required
Strong Access Database and analytical skills required
