Job Description:
ECI Technology of Totowa, NJ – a fast growing global leader in manufacturing of process control equipment for Fortune 100 companies seeks an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor

• Successful candidates will plan and manage systems manufacturing for the semiconductor industry

• Ensure that production area adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices, approved process steps, quality, safety, and environmental standards
• Responsible for management of electrical and mechanical technicians in all manufacturing related activities
• Liaise with Engineering, Service, and QA
• Utilize team work and good communication to administer personnel policies and maintain productivity and harmony of the group
• Responsible for motivation, training, interviewing, hiring, and problem resolution of subordinates

Requirements
• Hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical assemblies
• Proven knowledge of IPC standards for acceptable electronics and electrical assemblies
• Proficiency with engineering design documents including mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
• Experience with ERP systems – Production Orders, Inventory Management, Bill of Materials and Resource Allocation

Qualifications:

Must have the ability to supervise a wide array of electro-mechanical manufacturing and assembly activities. Must be able to motivate work teams to continuously improve work efficiencies and effectiveness

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing with staff supervision in high-tech industry
• Experience working for a ISO 9001:2000 certified organization
• Good leadership, communications and interpersonal skills

Education
• B.Sc or M.Sc in Engineering or Operations.
