Maintenance Manager for CPG Food Manufacturer
Salary: $55K $75K (Plus 35%Bonus Plan)
This is a FULL TIME position

Our Client, a premier consumer product good food company with products sold nationwide, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager at their Southern Central USA location.
The right candidate will be responsible establishing and maintaining the upkeep of a 24 hour three shift plant facility. Maintain production equipment in a manner that ensures employee safety and minimizes interruptions in the operation of the facility.
This position will provide an excellent opportunity for a flexible individual who enjoys challenging and diverse job responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and repair all plant refrigeration, blenders, and production equipment.
Oversee, measurement, tracking, and planning for safety, quality, repair, and preventative maintenance programs for the facility.
Monitor all material handling equipment maintenance activities; making sure all equipment is serviced as required.
Make recommendations to senior management to improve the maintenance function.
Develop and maintain a productive work team by helping to create programs for hiring, training, and professional development.
Job Requirements:
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree preferred, High School Degree Required.
SQF 2000 Certification preferred.
The SQF Program is administered by the SQF Institute (SQFI), a division of the Food Marketing Institute (FMI)
Experience with Ammonia Refrigeration
Slicing Equipment Machines by Formax or similar
Slicing Equipment such as Cashin or Powermax 4000 by Formax
4 plus years experience with a consumer packaged goods food plant.
Must have previous supervisory experience.
Ability to work in hot and cold environments.
(Refrigerator 38 degrees, freezer -10 degrees)
Electrical background up to 480V 3-phase, Plumbing knowledge, PC/ software skills.
Experience working in meat or poultry products manufacturing environments.
Must be authorized to work in the USA.
Preference to candidates with experience with chilling equipment & Batch Ovens such as: Alkar Equipment.
