Job Description:
Sell YBP, Baker & Taylor and JA Majors products and services by establishing telephone contact and developing relationships with current customer base and prospects; recommends product and service solutions. Maintain relationships with customers by providing support, information, training (i.e., GOBI, Title Source 3, Online Customer Support) and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending product and service improvements. Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information. Maintain comprehensive customer files on the system (SalesForce).

Job Requirements:
3-5 years experience in library or organization services to libraries in either sales or customer service related roles; knowledge of organization products, service and policies; knowledge of library technical services, systems and other bibliographic databases; superior written and verbal skills, including telephone skills; strong interpersonal skills; proficiency with both PC applications and mainframe programs; self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. MLS preferred but not required.
