What are StreetWise Partners Programs?
FREE, 14-week career mentoring programs that match you with business mentors who help you build the skills and confidence to land your dream job. Surround yourself with motivated people like you and business professionals who want to help you succeed. Learn workplace skills in a real office environment.
Work with volunteer business mentors to learn the skills for success:
- Build your computer skills: learn MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Write winning resumes and professional cover letters
- Learn interview secrets and skills from experts
- Build a professional network to take yourself to the next level
How much does it cost?
- This is a FREE program for selected participants. All fees and tuition are paid for by corporate partners.
Spaces are limited, so apply now:
FALL PROGRAMS- Starting late August, 2009:
YOUNG ADULTS: for ages 18 – 24
Runs 14 Tuesday evenings, 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm. (Downtown DC)
ADULTS: for ages 25 - 55+.
Runs 14 Saturdays, 10 am – 2 pm. (Downtown DC)

Requirements to apply:
- Unemployed or underemployed, meet low income requirement (chart provided)
- GED or High School Diploma
- Ability to use a computer
- Ability to read and write proficiently in English
- Legal eligibility to work in the US
