Sr. Tax Accountant -- $50B+ SEC Insurance/Financial Services,

Salary: 73-80K

Senior Tax Accountant, position is based in NW suburbs

People out of banking and/or insurance would be a shoe in, otherwise its kind of a long shot.

But Federal Tax Experience is what we are looking for.

Tax accounting , Masters in Taxation, Federal, corporate, Public CPA, FAS 109 Financial accounting standards, IRS audit, Large corporations, public accounting , NOT individuals returns tax compliance. 3 -6 years of related experience.

Internal Job Summary Responsible for moderate to complex projects associated with the maintenance of tax records and the preparation of all or specifically assigned tax returns and related reports. Typically has three to six years of significant experience. Normally reports to the Tax Compliance Manager or Tax Research Manager.
Internal Job Qualifications Bachelors Degree or equivalent

Job Requirements:

1. BS in Accounting with three to six years tax accounting experience.
2. Must be well organized and self motivated with ability to meet deadlines.
3. PC literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and advanced spreadsheet skills.
